Amazing stay and we can’t wait to return. I would recommend this site to everyone I could.

Firstly the location is perfect. Situated down the road from wadebridge which has a Tesco superstore, Aldi and a B and M which always comes in useful. There is also a family friendly pub here which serves very nice food if needed. This site is also very close to Padstow and other well known places. We visited wadebridge, Padstow, Bude, Bodmin and found some lovely little villages along the way.
We spent a lot of our time at Constantine bay on the beach and crabbing in the rock pools. I would really recommend this if visiting.

Secondly the facilities on this site are second to none. The pitches are really well laid out, nicely sized and really well kept. The toilet and shower block is well maintained and we never had a problem with it being too busy in there despite the site being full. There is a washing up area, a place to wash wet suits and even a washing line to dry your clothes once washed on the onsite machine! All of the facilities are kept clean and to a high standard. Even the Elsan point was clean! There is a play park hidden away on the site. It has a really good climbing frame, swings and also a large trampoline. The park is maintained to a high standard keeping children that visit safe.

Lastly the hosts couldn’t do more to make our stay memorable! They are helpful and welcoming and we can’t thank them enough. Always around to help when needed and nothing is ever too much trouble. Thank you Sarah and Jo we really appreciate the hard work you clearly put into the site day in and day out.

If you are looking for a great location, facilities and want to be made to feel welcome then this is definitely the site to visit! We can’t wait to come back!

Possibly the best campsite I've ever been to. Very slick booking and arrivals process. So efficient I'm surprised everyone doesn't do it this way. Shower and toilet block was spotless, cleaned several times a day. Seemed well sized to the site as well didn't have to wait at all and the site was full when we went I think. Caravan and Camper pitches were mainly hedged between each pitches and seemed nicely private. Kids playground is tucked away in the corner and well done so your kids can play safely but it doesn't bother the rest of the site. Local pub and shops are about a mile away, along pretty much unused single track roads or pavements. We used it as a base to cycle the Camel trail which was excellent. It's very downhill to the trail though which means a steep last mile home. We had a hugely enjoyable time and would definitely recommend.

We stayed in Love Cottage and it was excellent. Clean, modern fittings, smart TV, great WiFi, nice views out of the windows. Couldn't fault any of it and it's a great location on a small, well kept site. We'll definitely stay again.

Brilliant campsite

We visited this site for the first time for the royal conrwall show. What a gem! A 15 minute walk to the show through the stunning countryside, the site was pristine, well manicured pitches, great facilities, friendly staff and simple and easy to access. We took a caravan, the pitch was easy to get into, all hook ups worked perfectly, there is onside freezers, washing and laundry facilities. We will definitely be back!

A little treasure of a site!

Had a fantastic week based here at The Laurels. The site is beautifully kept, the pitches are a great size ( we have a long twin axle caravan) plenty of room for our canopy or an awning. Jo and Sarah are really helpful, they made us feel so welcome and nothing was too much trouble. The showers and facilities are kept very clean and we always had plenty of hot water. There are play areas for kids and even an enclosed area for furry friends to stretch their legs offlead. Great base to travel from as it's near the main arterial roads A30 and A39. Thoroughly recommended if you're looking to pitch up with a tent, caravan or a camper van/motor home x thanks Jo and Sarah, we will certainly be back x

What a Cornish Gem

Arrived just me and my dog, in my motorhome. The weather is quite rough, but that did not deter.
The park is an ideal base to go and view the surrounding areas within easy reach. It's nice to come back at the end of the day to the tranquillity of the park. The facilities are excellent, clean and well maintained. They have a play park for the kids to let off a bit of steam and also a separate enclosed area for my pooch to go a little mad. If you do come and visit, keep it under your hat, want to try and keep this little Gem a secret.

Christmas Holiday

I booked a weeks holiday over Christmas and despite the weather had a wonderful break. This very well maintained site was charming with all the Christmas lights making it very festive. As usual the shower/toilet block was immaculately clean and tidy and this time I used the washing machine and tumble drier in the laundry, both were very efficient. This is a great place to stay due to its location and the high standards that are kept up by Jo and Sarah. Thank you once again, see you soon.

Great Site and Great Location

We stayed at The Laurels on our trip to Padstow for the Christmas Festival and it was just ideal. The pitch was great for our VW Campervan and the facilities were lovely and clean. An extra bonus was the bus stop right outside the site that took us straight into Padstow. We visited the beautiful Port Isaac the next day and that was a short and lovely drive from The Laurels. Thanks for looking after us!

Special Weekend visit

This was my second visit to The Laurels and what a great place it is to stay at. The site is kept so clean and tidy by Jo and Sarah, there are really clean and lovely showers with good water pressure and the perfect temperature of water as well as a washing up station and a place to dunk wet suits and if like me you don't take a washing line with you one is provided along with pegs. The dog exercise area is secure and and well maintained where dogs can run about while their owners can sit and have a chat or read or just watch the antics! The layout of the site is great with lovely hedges, some of which have a fabulous perfume, between the pitches. There is no delay on arrival as your name and the number of your pitch is written up on the arrivals board so it's a case of just driving straight to the pitch and getting set up. Jo and Sarah are very helpful, nothing is too much trouble. I've already booked my next visit and can't wait to go back. Thank you girls

WHAT A GEM

What a lucky find for us - great little caravan park, small and quiet. We liked it so much we are in the car driving back home and have booked for the new year. Well kept, ideally placed for local beaches. Nothing seems too far away and everybody was very friendly. Cannot wait to return again - we went for the larger gold grass pitch as we wanted space and it was perfect. Thanks for having us

Lovely, quiet and super clean

Stayed at The Laurels for our family holiday this year and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

The campsite and on-site facilities are impeccably clean, especially the showers and toilets.

The pitch was a decent size - allowing us to put up a decent size tent, a gazebo and park our large car, leaving a little room still for our little girl to ride her bike.

I was concerned when we arrived that our pitch was right next to the toilet block and dog walking area and worried about noise but everyone was very quiet and respectful.

We only saw the owners once or twice but they were very friendly.

The planting around the pitches allows more privacy than other sites we’ve stayed on which we really appreciated.

The park was well looked after and was great for our 5 year old.

The site is in a great spot too, right between Padstow, Polzeath and other lovely areas of Cornwall. Would highly recommend Camel Creek for a fun family day out (under 7’s I would say), Polzeath Beach (get a pizza from the on beach takeaway) and Strong Adolfo’s for breakfast (£££ but beautiful food).

I would absolutely stay again, thank you so much The Laurels for making our holiday so fab (despite the weather!)

Our first impression was that the site was well maintained and well kept. We were greeted by the staff who checked that we had everything we needed and our pitch was as we expected.

The standard of cleanliness around the site was excellent and the staff were constantly ensuring those standards were maintained at busy times.

Location wise it was handy as it’s on the local bus route. The buses to Newquay and Wadebridge were regular and we made use of these.

The pitch size was ample and we would definitely return here in the future if we were staying in the area.

Beautifully maintained campsite with all facilities. Emplacements delimited by hedges of many varieties, all neatly cut. Our tent was on grass, but camper vans and caravans were on gravel. The location just off the A39 is handy for The Royal Cornwall Showground and the supermarket in Wadebridge. We used our England Bus passes to visit Newquay and Padstow - double decker bus ride between Newquay and Padstow has to be experienced!
